The Simpsons

If you haven't seen The Simpsons in the ten years or so that it's been running then you're probably a candidate for some serious half hour humour injections from this lovable family because nearly every episode is a lesson in how to write exemplary satire.

Creator, Matt Groening, takes the typical nuclear family and adds a bit of madness in the form of the terminally stupid and lazy Homer who would like nothing more than to be left in peace to finish all the donuts in the vicinity and have a snooze. His wife Marge is forever trying to steer him, and their son Bart, out of trouble while their daughter Lisa is a perfect child, hardworking, intelligent and always trying to get one over on her brother and Maggie... sucks (literally).

Apu

It's the other characters that really make The Simpsons into something that transcends your normal cartoon. Each one is an hilariously sculpted stereotype, from the roly-poly incompetently corrupt Police Chief Wiggum, and the evil atony of Homer's boss Mr. Burns who runs the nuclear power station to the Simpsons' perpetually happy god-fearing neighbour Ned Flanders.

For many years now 'The Simpsons' have been an integral part of every day life. Thanks to their creator, Bart, Homer, Lisa, Maggie and Marge now entertain millions of people every day as we observe their hillarious and idiotic life in the quiet town of Springfield. After ten years The Simpsons remain the longest showing and most popular Cartoon of all time. Many Movie stars, singers and other celebrities have begged to appear on the show and, most of the time, Matt Groening obliges.

Past celebrities appearing on the show include:
